Jeremy Read
Non-Executive Chairman
Jeremy Read is a seasoned minerals resource industry executive, having worked on a broad range of precious and base metals projects in Australia, Africa, North America, India and Scandinavia. Mr Read has wide ranging experience from project generation, greenfields, brownfields and project development. He has extensive exploration experience for gold, copper and nickel sulphides. He played critical roles in the discovery of the Kabanga North nickel deposit, in Tanzania, the Cairn Hill magnetite‐copper deposit in South Australia and the Boseto Copper deposit in Botswana. Mr Read spent 11 years working for BHP in Africa and Australia, including several years as the Manager of BHP’s Australian Exploration Team.
Since 2003, Mr Read has concentrated on developing junior mineral resource companies, creating and capturing value for shareholders. He has been the Managing Director of five ASX‐listed resource companies: Discovery Metals, Meridian Minerals, Avalon Minerals, MinQuest Limited and Pursuit Minerals Limited. Mr Read is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (“AusIMM’”).
Amanda Sparks
Non-Executive Director
Amanda Sparks is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Her career background in the resources industry spans more than 30 years, including direct financial experience with mining companies at both the exploration stage and the production stage. During that time, Ms Sparks has gained extensive experience in company secretarial, financial management, corporate transactions, governance and compliance functions.
She currently holds Directorships and/or Company Secretary roles with several ASX listed companies, including Stavely Minerals Limited, E79 Gold Mines Limited and ADX Energy Limited. She has also previously held roles with Integra Mining Limited and Excelsior Gold Limited.
Chris Gibbs
Non-Executive Director
Christopher Gibbs is a senior mining executive and director with over 28 years’ experience in the global resources sector across multiple jurisdictions. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of ECR Minerals plc, a gold exploration and development company listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM), and is actively involved in advisory roles across the mining and critical minerals sector.
Mr Gibbs was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of American Rare Earths Limited (ASX: ARR), where he led the company’s strategic repositioning and early development of its U.S. rare earth portfolio. He also served for a period as a Non-Executive Director of the company.
Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager for Argonaut Gold’s Canadian business, leading the development of the Magino Gold Project. He has also held senior roles with Centerra Gold and Thompson Creek Metals, including Vice President of Operations and General Manager of the Endako Mine in British Columbia, and earlier in his career held positions with Barrick Gold, Placer Dome and Millennium Chemicals.
Jeneta Owens
Managing Director
Jeneta Owens brings nearly two decades of experience to the mining and exploration industry, having worked across various deposit styles and commodities. As a qualified geologist, she specialises in porphyry copper-gold, epithermal gold, and VHMS systems. Ms Owens has held senior technical and leadership positions at major mining companies, with expertise encompassing both greenfield and brownfield exploration, resource development, and feasibility studies. Prior to joining Godolphin in 2021, Jeneta managed her own geological consultancy, providing guidance to junior explorers on project generation, exploration strategy, and business development.
Ms Owens integrates technical proficiency with strategic leadership to promote sustainable growth and enhance shareholder value. She is committed to advancing Godolphin Resources’ vision: developing world-class mineral assets to support the global transition towards renewable energy and advanced technologies, while delivering enduring value for shareholders and stakeholders.
Ms Owens is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).
Craig McPherson
Company Secretary
Craig McPherson has extensive experience in financial management, governance, and reporting across the resources sector. Mr McPherson graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has in excess of twenty-five years of commercial and financial management experience and has held various roles with ASX, TSX and NZX listed companies over the past eighteen years in Australia and overseas.
